UPDATED: Christchurch gays will get a chance to celebrate the 90s in camp style with Bar5′s 90s Party this weekend.
Punters are asked to dress in theme for the chance to win prizes, including King and Queen of the 90s.
“Think Clueless, think Ricky Martin, think boy bands (Backstreet Boys etc) and girl bands (Spice Girls etc), scrunchies and floral tights, pulp shoes and glitter,” say organisers.
Performances include Miss Stella Roadkill, Miss Cindy, Magda Doodle and just-moved Gummy Sue. The night will be hosted by Miss Mole, Queen of Celebrations.
Drinks will be just $3 from 8pm ’til 11pm, and a $2 cover applies from midnight, so head down early.
