The event, which we work on all year with the rest of the Out Wellington team, is Wellington’s most popular annual queer event, seeing around 10,000 people visit through the day in Civic Square.
We’re excited to welcome the outrageous Lady Trenyce back to Wellington from her mammoth OE as Out in the Square’s co-host, sharing the stage with veteran Steven Oates.
We hope to see all of you down there some time between 11am and 5pm for over 50 awesome stalls, entertainment (all day!), great food, and loads of friends.
The new Mayor, Celia Wade-Brown, plus our local gay MP Grant Robertson, will join us on stage to officially open the day at 11am. It’s a great idea to get down early to have your pick of the best from our varied and exciting stalls.
Bring cash, bring your friends, bring your family — this is a day for everyone.
See you all out at Out in the Square on Saturday! x
