Miss Drag Wellington, Nikita van der Kamp, has turned heads with her new look, and led many to ask: “Has Nikita gone under the knife?”
The 20-something diva, who took over the title just three months ago, was spotted out and about sporting huge lips that look to be the result of collagen.
“Looking at the photographs, it’s obvious she has gone under some sort of procedure,” says Wellington cosmetic surgeon Femke Mann. “I don’t know if I’d go as far as to say it was invasive surgery — it could be some sort of lip filler.”
She has also been rocking a new blonde hairdo, which is a departure from her more subdued brown, wavy look that won so many hearts at Miss Drag Wellington.
“I think her new look is a slap in the face to her fans,” says self-confessed fan Tony Chisholm. “Celebrities always do this — they win your heart and then once they get support and fame they change and you forget who you loved to begin with.”
Miss Drag Wellington organisers, Aaron and Andy, said that even if she has gone under the knife, that won’t affect her role. “There’s nothing in the contract that says a winner can’t undertake plastic surgery,” Aaron says.
Nikita would not return calls and it is believed she is hiding out in one of the Pacific Islands.
