1980s pop icon and the world’s sexiest man from 1988 to 1991, Jason Donovan, is about to unleash what promises to be the soundtrack of the summer… a collection of 80s ballads.
The album, Soundtrack Of The 80s, is due for release next month and features a stunning Jason not looking a day past his prime and includes covers of such 80s’ crooners as Richard Marx, Terence Trent D’Arby, and Tears For Fears. Sadly there’s no Rick Astley cover.
We’re not sure who this will appeal to, given that his 1940s inspired Let It Be Me, released a year or so back, only reached the great heights of #28 in the charts, but any Jason is good Jason. We’re also tres excited that his amazing first two albums, Ten Good Reasons and Between The Lines, are being released in deluxe double-disc remastered editions next week. All our 80s-hasbeen Christmases have come at once!
