The votes from Sunday’s Wellington’s Next Top Drag Queen have been counted, and recounted. And the winners are…
Surprisingly similar to last year, apart from the winner! This year’s second and third place-getters are identical to last year’s, which could either excite or infuriate those queens.
Nikita van der Kamp, who won Sunday’s competition, took away 30.5% of the total votes. Hosts Shaaron and Shandy had huge backing from the audience, with 57% voting for the girls as amazing hosts, although they didn’t enter. Audience members were asked to vote for one entrant, plus had the option to tick Aaron and Andy.com‘s Shaaron and Shandy as well.
Following behind Nikita, with 21% of the total votes, was Felicity Frockaccino, and third place was Ms Malibu with 17%.
In a surprising twist, Felicity also placed second at last year’s competition, and Ms Malibu also placed third at last year’s competition.

gummy had the best most entertaining show and should have won based on that. Unfortunatly gummy has burned so many bridges in this town it shows hes not well liked.
