Ex-Auckland drag queen Nikita van der Kamp, aka Nicholas Brown, has taken away the title of Miss Drag Wellington 2010.
The event took place last night to a capacity audience at The Garden Club. Six hopefuls put on their best to please the audience and the judges, but in the end it was Nikita’s “full package” that won the show.
“I’m so happy!” Nikita said after taking away the title and prizes. “I’ve never won anything before!”
Aaron and Andy.com‘s Shaaron and Shandy hosted the event, joined by judges Eddy Kennedy from Pollux, Buffy and Bimbo, Bundy from More FM, and Carl Manderson from Salute Hair and Day Spa.
We’d like to thank all of the fabulous sponsors and entrants, plus everyone who came along to make the event a huge success.

Very fun… good job shaaron and shandy despite the technical difficulties. I personally liked Miss Malibu and was sad she didn’t win, but it was a very good time.

PapcPac’s gladwrap striptease was juicy. Malibu’s presence was absolutely cutting. Nut really, with former Miss Drag Auckland Judy Chicago and former Miss Drag Wellington Ellie Kat in her performance team, Nikita had royal blood running through her show. And her outfits were flawless xoxoxo
